Teaching History
I am an associate professor in applied linguistics at the University of Oxford, having moved from Trinity College, Dublin in September 2015. Before coming to Trinity, I was assistant professor in the Department of Business at Rikkyo University in Japan, where I created the curriculum for the Bilingual Business Leader Program--one of the first bilingual business degrees in East Asia. I also taught Communication Theory in the Master of International Business program. Before coming to Rikkyo, I taught at a number of universities, including Kanda University of International Studies, Tohoku University, and The University of Sydney.
